HOW THIS WORKS
Experience before labels.
This rule-based tool uses the audience, task, recency window, frequency, and conflicts you enter to assemble a draft. It produces participant-facing questions and a separate researcher routing section. It does not use AI, evaluate real responses, verify identities, or send invitations.
For example, a job title alone does not establish whether someone recently coordinated follow-up actions. Ask for the task, timing, and a short account of what happened. A person who does not remember an exact date may still have useful experience; route ambiguity to human review rather than automatically rejecting them.

Review before recruiting.
- Remove requirements that do not affect the research decision.
- Keep qualification rules out of the participant-facing version.
- Pilot the wording and check that answer options cover relevant situations.
- Offer accessible ways to answer; writing fluency is not a proxy for useful experience.
- Explain purpose, duration, compensation, data handling, and any recording separately before consent.
User Interviews’ screener guidance discusses leading questions, behavioral criteria, and skip logic. Source checked October 8, 2026. This tool’s routing draft is Vellora’s implementation, not a recruitment platform integration.
What does “eligible” mean here?
It means the described answers match your draft study criteria, subject to review and consent. It does not prove identity, truthfulness, representativeness, or a right to participate. A waitlist or quota decision should remain separate from eligibility.
Only include sensitive or demographic criteria if necessary for the research question and appropriately handled. Do not publish the researcher-only notes with the questionnaire. Read our privacy note.
